One of the amazing things that the human brain is great at is identifying differences. It's, in many ways, it's a different difference engine. It identifies differences between the way things are and the way you want them. It identifies differences between people and situations. And so when we look at our world around this, more often than not, we don't view it in terms of what it is. We view it in terms of how it's different than we would either like it or than it was, or things like that. So understanding that that difference engine exists in the human mind, you can start to use tools like these large language models, online chat, CPT, Claude, any of the, any of the big ones, even the small ones, or work to, to get a, essentially a Masonic buddy A, using these, these large language models to act like the most knowledgeable, the most skilled, the most developed.

01:13
Essentially Freemason using all of the symbols of the craft to help you when you have identified a difference that you need to understand why it exists. So any difference will work, right? So I think the world should be this way. I don't know why. Can you explain to me in Masonic terms how, how it's occurred or why I can do to fix it? How do I drive engagement in my lodge? How do I 'cause implicit in the question? Like, how do I drive engage in my lodge, for example, is that your lodge is disengaged. How do I get healthy Again, the implication there is that you're not healthy. The difference engine always works, but it tends to ask questions in like a problem solve kind of model. But it's important to use GPT in those situations, particularly where you don't really know what the difference is.

You can explain the symptoms, but you can't find the cause. Root cause in these contexts is really useful to help you close some of the gaps, particularly when it comes to your own behavior. So what do I mean by all that? That I mean to say when you're trying to solve a problem in your everyday life, sometimes your, your lodge mates may not be there yet. So you're gonna use something like a GPT to ask it questions to help you identify what Masonic tool is most appropriate for you to begin to apply or work on to solve the problems in your life. For example, a a, a great, a great sort of idea here is to prompt a GPT on something along the lines of patients. Hey, I find myself getting regularly frustrated with the people

02:59
In, in my workplace. I have no idea what the cause of that frustration is. What I want you to do, GPT is respond as if you were the best mason ever with all of the Masonic information that you would have from a Blue Lodge degrees or from the Scottish Riot or from New York Rite. And help me diagnose and troubleshoot why I get so easily frustrated with the people at work. And if you have those conversations, I think you'll find it responds very, very well in with Masonic symbols that are appropriate for further exploration. It might say things like, you seem to be applying the, the trial in one direction only, or you seem to be not acting on the plum being upright in all of your dealings. Maybe you are a little bit left of center with some of your treatment of some of your coworkers.

04:04
The GPT tools, the large language models like that will, will get you there. They will help close some of those gaps. You can use the craft symbols to start having conversations that are a little bit, again, as we spoke in our last episode, a little bit less emotionally charged, a little bit more of a, a diagnostic for the folks that were looking for that kind of help and support from the craft. So go forth and GPT give it a shot. Try it in the context of of the challenges you're facing in your life. You know, punch in the punch in the symptoms and have it help you identify sort of the symbolic causes of those issues.
